This refurbished Dell OptiPlex 7090 UFF is a compact workhorse best suited to light server, homelab, or monitor mounted setups. The 32GB of RAM stands out for the price, and the i5 1145G7, multiple USB ports, and power delivery support make it flexible for small always on tasks. The UFF design was built to attach to the back of Dell monitors, but the CPU is soldered and the laptop class chip is not a powerhouse. Refurb quality and the SSD are the main concerns, and the unit may not include a power adapter.

It's like any place on the internet. Voting is about how people feel, not logic or truth. I recently criticized a deal. I was corrected. I said i was wrong. Pretty rare around here. Pretty rare around anywhere.
You should see nextdoor and the midterms. I have too much low IQ people in my city. I think laptop deal is better for a little more. Get an extra screen if you just dock it as well.

Third party refurbishers do it to reduce costs and increase margin. Supposedly it's better business.
You have no proof or validation to back that statement up, so better not comment fabricated stuff. This is being sold by Newegg, not some random third-party seller; and even then, reputable sellers don't ever do this.

Went on Amazon and ordered for $238. Probably the same refurbisher.

It's sold by Newegg but refurbished by Walmart refurbishers. Let's see what RAM brand people report having in their systems. That would be proof. The OEM SSD is also likely to have been replaced by an inferior which is why it fails after a few months of use. I only trust manufacturer refurbished.

lol what?

it's ddr4 sodimm. It's not that valuable, and you're not going to overclock it or anything.

and doing all that for a 256gb ssd? seriously?

I don't trust anything that says refurbished because most don't even test it let alone do something like replace fans inside and clean the motherboard because that would cost a couple bucks and take time. Just send it out and see if gets returned again. Then send it out again.
I've gotten "refub" items that would not even POWER ON! Some wouldn't function. This isn't even trying to see if the item failed 5 or 10 min into use. It was super evident they just took defective returned items and resold them.
So just out of curiosity I looked at Discount Computer Depot who "refubishes" Dell items for Walmart. Plenty of one star reviews getting a defective item but what value are my life experiences 🤔

Shows that it is sold and shipped by Newegg. Thoughts on this company? They have a good seller feedback on over 7,000 reviews of 4.6. Newegg has the same computer for close to the same price. Which retailer is the better choice? Thanks.

I'm showing $240 at Walmart. Same price as the retailer who sells and ships from Newegg.
