Looks to be a decent deal for the standard green bino. Cabela's has the tan version for $299.

I was curious about the model at cabelas and it looks to be an older model and it doesn't have the newer glasspak case.

It looks like the Cabela's Q&A answers the question: "The Exclusive model does have less of a field of view and a slightly further minimum focus distance. Our model also includes a case, lens covers, and neck strap where the other includes the GlassPak Chest Harness."

It sounds similar to the pre-2018 model.

If you're already spending $300 for decent glass I'd spend the extra $20 for a little more FOV and shorter minimum focus. Might have other harder-to-measure optical improvements, like coatings, too.

Just got the Viper HD, excited to compare to the German Precision Optics - Centuri Binoculars 10 x 42mm for $299.99 that came as a deal few weeks ago from Costco. I feel like for $20 based on online review I am going to like the Viper HD over the GPO Centuri from Costco. Glad Costco has a great return policy.

Vortex also has an amazing warranty: unconditional, unlimited lifetime warranty. They'll repair or replace any damaged or defective product at no charge. Fully transferable too, with no registration, proof of purchase, etc.

I have these and they're fantastic.

How do these compare to the $180 ones Costco had recently?

Nice deal! Hopefully this coupon code will still be valid when their holiday return policy begins on Nov 1st.
