Man, I was so happy to see my oldest son fall in love with this game. To see his disappointment when he couldn't get that boss and went to bed angry, to the joy he had when he finally beat it in that confidence going forward. I helped him with some navigation just like I did my buddy back in the day of the original Metroid. I personally feel this game was a fitting tribute to the original, for me. I paid a lot more than this LOL.

Really? I strongly doubt it. From what I hear, it leans even more into the abysmal parry mechanic than Samus Returns did, and parrying absolutely ruined that game.

Had this been nameless space marine #4720 instead of Metroid, I know Returns would have gotten even lower scores.

So I just cant imagine this faring any better.
