Yes, Fi trade in values are crap so you sell locally. For P11 Pro the best deal is the Verizon one that I posted about here which is still going on. It's fairly simple to do.

If the refund includes tradein price + tax (this is driven by ur state tax law), then it is ok whether the tradein credit is instant or later on.

It is fairly easy only if the phone you get is unlocked.

It was a PITA dealing with Verizon to submit a unlock request and I am now at 31st day with a phone that I can't use. It also took 2+ hours (over several calls and chats) to get the line cancelled and final bill adjusted.

At this time, I just hope it is unlocked after 35 or 60 days.

It should automatically unlock after 35 days. If you had done store pickup it mostly should have been unlocked already but you might not have a store near you to do that.

It depends on the state and a bunch of other stuff. On the trade in page, they say that they will refund you the full trade-in value. But sometimes once the refund comes, it includes the tax as well, so technically the refund exceeds the trade-in value. And at other times, it does not include the tax, so it is just the trade-in value. I have no idea how Google figures out what to do when. I have had it happen both ways, in the same state, at the same location, in the same Google account, and if you talk to their CSRs, they act dumb.

Oh wow, I didn't even check this deal. This is the best deal of all of them. Why are even people bothering with this Google Store deal? I mean with Verizon you're getting a brand new phone, unlocked, at that price. There is no way that this price will be beat. It wasn't on the launch day and I don't expect it to be beat on Black Friday either.

I think as long as the front screen is good you should be okay. But maybe go to Best buy since it's in store.

Google Store has been infamous with rejecting trade-ins for even decent conditions phones. Having a cracked camera, will likely result in rejection. It would be far more prudent to go the Best Buy route.

That's not entirely correct. Pixel 11 does have hardware MTE, but it's only been enabled and tested in beta firmware. If you are curious here's my steps about getting a great phone deal.

1. You don't move your service to Fi, just do the deal for 120 days and keep pausong for next deal. I have upgraded from S23U to S26U using this. Fi phones are factory unlocked allowing you to use your carrier SIM from day 1.
