I know no one has a Time Machine, I'm just posting this as a reference point that I do not think it's going get much cheaper.

But I purchased a similar one

"Compustar - CS4905S-KIT 2-Way Remote Car Starter System, 3,000-ft Range, 4-Button Remote, Basic Installation Included - Black
Model: CS4905S-KIT SKU: 6269220"

on November 2025 for 329. 99. And that also included free installation at Best Buy.

In the deal posts ,yes, but it is not a standard combination as Best Buy includes installation during promotions. I believe standard install is $99.99 on regular procedures and $149.99 on any mods or custom workarounds they would have to do to complete install

I got in on that too....in 2019..still have that car probably BECAUSE being able to start it from an app has been such a luxury ..oh and because it's a good car, lol.

Sometimes you could get lucky and get it fir $219.

I guess those days are gone.

The idatastart remote starter which is a lot better was $330 just last year

I would wait and see what happens around Nov-Dec

I remember those days. If I'm not mistaken, I remembered seeing $199 at one time. Then it jumped up over the years and I think I even saw $299. However, it must be noted that that was for the lower model with the 4 silver button 2-way (and one 1-way black button) remotes. Then the model with the LTE module was around $50 higher...but I have not seen this one before or I can't remember seeing it on sale...or maybe it's the same one as the LTE model. Anyways, this can be controlled by your cell phone for a monthly fee.

Did Bestbuy stop carrying idatastart remote starter? I can't find it and it seems like it's no longer available. I was debating if I should get this or wait until iDataStart goes on sale.
