I bought these as a replacement for some earfun air pro 4 plus earbuds and honestly the earfuns were way better for half of this sale price. The noise cancellation on the pixel buds isn't great, and yes, I've tried all the foam tip sizes. Also there is far less customization available with the pixel buds.

For example, the earfuns have a specialized wind noise cancellation mode that is great for walking outside, whereas the pixel buds pick up wind in the cancellation, making them unusable in high wind.

I picked the pixel buds after I lost the earfun case because of the find hub integration but in hindsight I'd rather just buy the earfuns multiple times for the same price if I lose them.

I've gone though 2 sets of these and both times the left earbud fails to pass through audio. Transparency is non existent. Way to expensive to have these problems.

I have these and also 4 different Anker Soundcore buds. I had a bit of Google credit to use or lose. My take: yes they are not good in wind noise. Audio quality is good, but I do not think that it is much different from my Ankers that are less than half price. They are best at people hearing me clearly when using my mobile. They are best at using the noise reduction and then automatically shutting off the volume to talk to people or hear people talking to me. Also when driving they will shut the volume to hear sirens. They are the smallest in size of all my buds. Yes, you have to get a proper fit using the various silicone tips. So typical of Google, they excel in the software aspects of these buds.

Note for GrapheneOS users: these work and the app is not necessary for basic use, but you can use the Pixel Buds app, but you need sandboxed google play PLUS a logged-in Google account, and you need to accept their TOS. You technically don't need the app to pair and use audio, but for any advanced settings or features or firmware updates, you need to submit to Google.

I've had and returned two pairs of these as they both had noise cancelling issues. Avoid

Having purchased 2 of the prior Gens of Pixel buds this was such a letdown, they simply don't fit properly even the 1st Gen was fantastic. There are plenty of aftermarket products to compensate but honestly not worth it not at this price point.

The problem is this is the only set that I can locate with my android phone when the case is closed. Nobody else has that feature.

These have been great for me. I got them since release and no issues. I also got a second pair last time they were around $100 on Amazon for used in like new condition. They literally came new. Can't complain.

Agreed. Pixel buds are just not worth the price. They aren't a great fit and are always falling out and mine eventually developed a screeching noise which customer service replaced for free. Mine eventually got stolen and a cheap set of galaxy buds for about a quarter of the price did pretty much everything the pixel buds did but fit better.
