I have these, they work well keeping the big stuff out, like acorns and leaves. They can get a little clogged with tiny stuff like pollen and dirt, but only right under my trees. I blow them out with a leaf blower once a year and it forces everything through the screen and into the gutter. Easy to install. You just need a drill and tin snips. 10/10 would buy again

What's the advantage if you have to use a leaf blower on the gutter anyway? Seems like a waste of money.

For me it is the difference between blowing off the gutter 1 or 2 times a year and doing it weekly not being enough. I have a big river birch that drop little cones (we call them caterpillars) and if they drop along with rain they can stick a to the guard. I haven't tried not blowing them off it might be fine without blowing them off. Also it is much easier and cleaner to blow them off with the guards. I will get these game guards if I ever get new gutters installed.
