You can configure a Dell Pro Max Tower T2 Desktop to cost less than what the installed RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell 96GB retails for. Decline all service packs and upgrades in the configurator (they don't make it easy...). Student/military discount adds an additional 10% off, and support chat has been known to give out discounts if you ask nicely.

Tax adds about $1000-$1500 depending on where you live.

It's being reported on already, so they may cancel the orders, but doesn't hurt to try. https://videocardz.com/newz/compl...card-alone

So OP are you thinking to buy it sell the GPU? If you pull it off and make some money, let us know. I know a company buying Blackwells for proprietary model making, but they're more interested in support/warranty than saving a $1k or 2.
If you're after it for yourself, awesome. Id love to see some 6K gaming.

I don't think there's quite enough margin for personal resale really after taxes. Unless you desolder and ship it to China or somewhere illegally. So many listings for these and 5090s with "no core, no RAM". Someone is getting these chips out, I wonder when the FBI is going to finally jump on it.

In a year this is how much a gaming desktop with a 5070 will cost.

Why would the government do anything when you now have the 1% class saying that personal computers are a wasteful allocation of resources?

Think about how much easier it will be to control the masses when everything is cloud based.

And the bootlickers will willfully give it up if it means the latest boogeyman is "defeated".

It only took them 51 years to cosy back up to the last enemy. Maybe China can break that record.

The next step is for the 1% to state that humans are a wasteful allocation of resources.

I see 18K also. even with 10% off, it's still high
