P.S. I don't have the X1 but do have the S1, and so far that SD card has been bullet proof. I paid a $10 up charge on Amazon but $10 for a 256gb in this timeline is a deal all by itself.

Thank you for pointing out that deal. I bought the X1 after I saw your comment I hope I don't get buyer's remorse
Is the combo with the screen controller worth an extra $270?
Is it possible to upgrade to the screen controller later?
everyone says its worth it. but i wonder if at that point its worth getting a DJI version that will have better resale value and work with tons of DJI products out there.

The X1 was nearly double when I bought the S1 (they started doing this deep bundle discounts right after I pulled the trigger
), I honestly I still might make the same choice today between the two base models however in the X1, the A.I. night mode looks sweet. Not to mention "fly more combo" vs "fly more combo" I think the X1 makes a lot of sense at just $120 extra.
FWIW, I've seen videos of people flying the S1 at night, I just don't think the camera is quite as good for low light but likely still workable. I need to do it, likely will start to try soon that the sun is setting earlier.

Honestly, you can buy a used DJI for this money and it'll have the screen and the better batteries.
This would be interesting around $300
To be fair, you could also buy a used Skyrover for a heavy discount, much less of them out there though.
Personally I'd be a little hesitant to buy a used drone and batteries of questionable health (especially with how much the batteries cost to replace). That being said, there are plenty of deals to be found for (seemingly) like new DJI's for bargain basement prices. Half of them are probably long sold or scams, but with a enough work you should be able to get good deal...assuming the one you buy is being sold accurately and in good condition.
