This 14 inch MacBook Pro pairs the M5 chip, 16GB of memory, and 1TB of storage with a steep Costco price cut, free shipping, and Costco return and warranty coverage. The deal stands out against Apple pricing and the newer M6 model, and the Pro still brings the better screen, ports, and active cooling that help with heavier work. The main concern is 16GB RAM, which can feel tight for lots of browser tabs, Office and Teams, or demanding development and AI tasks. It looks like a strong value if your workload fits the memory ceiling.
Common Questions (3)
Yes for office work, web browsing, light Python, photo editing, and light video editing under 1080p. It can feel tight with heavy multitasking, lots of browser tabs, Teams, or local AI workloads, where 24GB or more is a better fit.
The current $1,349.99 price is already far below Apple's $1,999 price, and the M6 14-inch Pro has just launched at $1,999. If stock holds, it may be cleared out further, but the deal is already strong and Costco includes free shipping, a 90-day computer return window, and a second year of warranty.
The clearance price can be seen online, but the purchase may need to be completed in store. Stock also varies by warehouse, even though many locations show the same price.

Obviously if you have been feeling constrained by RAM you should consider the 24GB Air (and the tradeoffs betweeen the Air and the Pro hardware), and personally I would have liked to order the Pro with a 24GB upgrade for longevity, but I think this will hold me off until hardware prices stabilize.
