Same deal at Amazon right now. Costco has both Black and Silver color available at the moment. Free shipping and same price in-club, yet YMMV on locations with availability.

You get Costco's 90-day return window on computers and a second year of warranty.

Costco has the 14" MacBook Pro with the M5 chip, 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD (MDE14LL/A, item #1945139) for $1,349.99. Apple charges $1,999. It's on costco.com with free shipping, and most warehouses have it at the same price, though stock varies. The limit is 2 per member. You get Costco's 90-day return window on computers and a second year of warranty. The new M6 version just launched at $1,999, so this looks like a clearance price.

Buy a smashed screen M1 off ebay and swap your screen onto it. $200 fix.

It all depends on a user's needs. The last MacBook I purchased 2 years ago was an air model with only 8GB RAM and I had to return it. 16GB is more than enough for my needs. This is a great deal, though, especially with the 1TB hard drive.
