I'm at $125 in cart. Ali dynamic selective pricing put me at 138.26 so that I couldn't qualify for the coupon from OP.

What type of suspension and rough ride does this have?

Small battery, no way you're hitting 22mph unless you weigh like 90lbs. And probably not very durable

I bought this last time it was posted and just assembled it today. It is surprisingly nice and faster than expected. I was able to hit the advertised 22mph pretty easily and rode a few miles around my neighborhood up some hills (I weigh about 180 pounds) and still had over 80% battery when I got back. The shocks aren't amazing, but between that and the larger tires it was a noticeable smoother ride than my 8" solid tired scooter. I'd say it's worth the price.

When I added to cart, said I needed $0.61 more of items to get $25off coupon. Added a cheap $1.50 item for kicks and $25 off coupon unlocked, so deal is verified! $113 and change with coupon. I paid about $40 more about 3-4 weeks ago for the same scooter, so this is for sure a slick deal for this 42v when 500w motor scooter!

Special caveat to the price here, a well known cash back site currently has 29% cash back for AliExpress! So you can technically grab this scooter for well under $100 right now!

I own and purchased this same eScooter just over 3 weeks ago. To answer the quoted reply, this scooter can definitely do it's top rated 22mph, but ONLY when above 70-80% battery. The 42v battery it's not under powered by any means, in fact most 36v rated scooters only have a 7.8Ah battery at best, so the 10.5Ah this one has definitely allows that plus will go further.

Some notes on the scooter... This is NOT an Aovopro, but rather a clone, the Aovowheel Y02 which is almost identical to the Aovopro TMax, which itself is a clone of the Xiaomi M365.

Onto the battery, while it's a 42v battery and recharges at 42v, it only delivers that 42v power above 70% charge level. Below that, it automatically drops to a nominal 36v power and won't reach that 22mph top speed under most terrain conditions, you can see the voltage drop in any of the supported apps that work with the scooter. The motor from multiple sources I've read is 500w with a 700w peak, I imagine that's upon start up. This is a FWD scooter.

The suspension is legit and works, you can tell if you hop on the deck while it's not moving and feel the suspension rebound. I've never ridden another eScooter to differentiate a rigid frame, but the ride is fairly stiff for what I'd expect from a full suspension setup.

Lastly, I use both the recommended Vicont app (QR code for it in the super tiny print user manual) as well as the 365 Scooter app. While many people trash the Vicont app, I find it more intuitive and also more feature rich if marginally. Also the Vicont app allows adjustment of both starting torque as well as driving torque which matters when meeting a hill and maintaining speed. That said, I mainly use my scooter for going from the train station a half dozen blocks from work and back. There's a significant 1 block long hill, about 10% grade I would guess if not more, while on 80-100% charge, it'll tackle the hill at about 12mph as long as you have a bit of speed coming up to it. On lesser charge it'll slow down to about 8-9mph, but still faster than walking, I weigh around 170lbs for reference.

I find the scooter to be well worth the cost though and punches above what you'd expect from a scooter of it's price. No shills here, just real world experience from a product I was initially highly skeptical about and feared regretting the purchase. I'd definitely buy it again if I needed another.

has anyone read or aware of issue with this scooter in terms of:
  • battery dying after 6 months
  • fires from charging.

I bought one at 150 ish and another at 130 ish. These scooters are decent and this is a great deal. Wish it was the ESMAX that got the discount, but these are pretty sweet too. You can up the power slightly in the app, but if you're light weight it can peel out. My girlfriend is only 110 lbs and mine with the boosted settings burns out on her, but not for me. I am 200 lbs.

I'm 205 and picked this up 6ish weeks back it does 20 on a flat surface with me on it if you have a slight downhill it hits 22. I am pretty nice to my stuff but did jump it off a curb @20 mph when I was feeling whimsical and was really surprised it went fine. No build quality issues, I have probably only put 50miles on it or so at this point though. I use it to commute to work sometimes and for oil changes/car maintenance since I can drop my car off then run some errands. For the price point I think its an excellent value. I was able to get mine for 110 by making a new account since Aliexpress does the dynamic pricing thing.

I picked this up 6ish weeks ago and have put 50 miles or so on mine and its been great. I cant speak to the long term longevity but it seems to be a great product at this price point. I've had 4 e-scooters now including a Nanrobot Ls7+72v hyperscooter. This one seems to be similar quality to the other two budget scooters I have had both of which were also Xaomi clones.

So all speculation. I got it, and I'm pleased with it. Paid more than this too
