Has anyone done the math to compare if this is cheaper than buying the refill.

Little math for you based on my recently purchased:

Yoken Pure Castle Soap: 33.8 oz or 1000ml = $10

If you make 2 tablespoons or 30ml for 10oz of foaming soap:

1000ml/30ml ~33 bottles of 10oz.

Refill is much much cheaper. However, buying these you get the 6 bottles.

Also, to make a foamimg soap people use either distill water or atleast RO water

Also, the pumps stop pumping well after a certain number of uses

i highly recommend against these manual pump bottles

as slickpenguins mentioned, they get stuck and stop pumping after some time
(a short amount of time in my experience)

get an "automatic foaming soap dispenser" if you really want to go foam

This is my experience so I am not sure what was wrong but just throwing out here.

I bought this brand name before so I could used their bottles. I refilled one bottle with castle shop and added few drops of essential oid lavender. The other one I added Orange essential oil. The lavender was fine but the orange oil clocked up. At first I thought because of the bottle and about to throw it in the trash. Then I filled with lavender and it back to buisiness. Not sure why. Now, I bought the soap with the scent with it so no need to use with essential oils. Someone might say why using essential oil because I want some smell after using the soap.

Are foaming soaps generally a better value than traditional liquid gel type of soaps like the softsoap sold at Costco? Not sure if they use less per pump?..

Last time I bought these one was empty so I got 5. Started the refund return process but backed out & kept cuz I would have spent more on gas bringing to return location than the issue was worth.
