Ring was good for a while, but it just doesn't work well now. Looking for a replacement as well. I'd prefer hardwired, but that's not an option for me at the moment.

Ring is solid product. I have my whole ranch setup with ring, inside/out. Set up for minimal maintenance with an annual sub; cams are easy installs, only had one fail in past 14 years. Also, wife knows how to use app which is a major bonus. Plus one OP!

I used to agree with this - but the ring app is much better than any of the competitors that I've tried. the scrub line, notifications, etc are are leaps ahead of Reolink, Eufy, etc. Also monthly rate isn't bad if you have multiple cameras. Storage for that adds up faster if you have to store it on your own NVR.

Agreed! I have 5 ring cameras/floodlights and paid $100 a year for unlimited recording and playback. Also have a ring security system in place for years and receiving around $120 home insurance discount a year. I'd recommend Ring to family members and friends.
