This is considered their Black Friday Sale - Snapmaker had a Halloween deal and before that the Prime Day Pricing. It was between 749 and 789 based off of that. $699 for their black friday pricing is a solid deal and you throw in NEW15 and takes off $15. I tried to do GET5OFF but it did not want to work.

Great price! This is probably their best price before BF. Add another 8% upgrade discount, if you are eligible.

Considering that they have a 30-day price match, I think it is safe to pull the trigger now.

This price is great for the multiple tool head ecosystem that is being broadened. The U1 needs to stay at this price point and Bambu's P3C, (7 tool heads) needs to come in sub $1K. The price differential of $300 from 4 TH to 7 TH seems about right.

Yes, my bad. I meant 30-day price match. Corrected it now.

If you purchased directly from their website and are still within that window, you should immediately connect with their customer service team.

I have this printer, it is not bad, but between this and the P3C, I am willing to wait before getting another one.

It's a phenomenal printer. I have a P1S and an H2S as well. For PLA or PETG, I almost universally pick the U1 when it's time to print.

I was going to wait, but even at $699 this was the top of my budget. I'm totally guessing here, but I imagine the P3C will be over $2k and will probably ship with 4 nozzles and you'll have to buy the other 3 to keep cost down. Same with the H3C. Which I'm guessing will be at least $3k.

The U1 has had a year of updates and has worked out most of the initial issues. IMO I'd wait at least a year before shelling out that kind of cash for the new ones.

Not the same industry, but my boss was an engineer at GM for years and said no one that worked there bought a new gen vehicle. They always waited till the 2nd year. Not to say Bambu won't knock it out of the park, but there are still issues with their current flagship printers. I'm in a wait and see stance. But for the time being we get a proven 4 tool changer.

Check your email for a $30 gift card from snapmaker. It's in the black Friday email. Unfortunately the one they sent me only works on the global site and not the US store.

Try reaching out to them. Sometimes these companies surprise you with good news.

Bambu's X2D is roughly in this price range; obviously this is faster/less wasteful for multi-color but just as a pure printer in terms of software, integration, and reliability, how do they each rate? There's more to go wrong here, but even outside of that how does Snapmaker do in general Vs. Bambu/what is their reputation?
