The lids on these bottles are the worst design in the history of the water bottle. They have multiple ways they can fail. From small plastic nubs that sheer off, to hard plastic casings in soft plastic that can crack, to a spring mechanism that detaches. I highly, highly, highly recommend not buying this bottle. Not to mention the company doesn't support their own warranty and makes the lids on these bottles not interchangeable with the different lids they make.

They know this lid is terrible yet continue selling more.

I've been using these bottles for a couple years now and I am not overly careful with them. From hiking and boating to running around town. Never had a single issue, and it's by far my favorite style of drinking system. YMMV. Also I feel they may be discontinuing this model soon in favor of their new ones, as the bottle have been going on sale for much less than this lately. This is not a good deal. Just picked up an extra 32 for around $21 and a 24 for around $19

I'm not a fan of these water bottles. I have tried so many different bottles trying to find one I love & will use regularly! I like straw or chug design, but it ends there. They do not stand up to being dropped. They ding and dent so easily. Mine doesn't sit flush on a table anymore, but wobbles.
I don't recommend them
