Very little of importance is CPU-limited these days. This mobo does not bifurcate to the second pcie like the proart does. So really, you're paying for the CPU, which you're not going to get much out of.

Not just that, but unless the only thing you care about is gaming the 270k Plus deal if it's still at MC is just better and cheaper.

Nah, 3 like normal. The 5 thing was only because the 13th and 14th gen intels had a huge problem that could have affected expected lifetimes, even after the fix went out.

I have a 270k Plus, thing is a beast.

I still am sporting a 5900x, 64gb DDR4 Ram and RTX 4090 from 2022. Any point to upgrading the CPU/MOBO / Ram now? PC mainly used for gaming but also photo processing large amounts of data.

maybe just the cpu upgrade if you have cash burning a hole in your pocket.. depending on the games you play.. if you play apex or minecraft or fortnite dont even bother upgrading.. the photo processing would take probably take a hit though the 5900x is most likely better with its cores

if you care about 1% lows then it's probably going to be worth. Your rig in particular is very cpu bound.
