I've had one in our road car since December of last year in the FL heat. It still springs back and still functions 100%. Edit:
Same manufacturer, style, color and length but was listed as a lower wattage.

I bought a coiled cord awhile back. Never again. The coiled design just isn't for me. However, I do own a very similar Lisen gray silicone cord with those exact tips. They're fat and beefy AF. Very happy with it.
