No, they aren't compatible. The RC2 with the screen might be, but I'm not sure on that too.

On that same page they have the drone alone for $70 but they have a package that includes 3 extra batteries and fast charger for $133. Looks like batteries are $40 to $50 a piece. Plus $30 plus for charger depending. So I would lean towards package. I don't know much about neo but the price is good I think without spending several times as much

How do you actually control these, is it in app?

Looks like 18 minutes flight time. How does it return as battery drains, or is that reliant on operator?

This would be neat to have for an Alaska trip with a group of 8, but I worry wouldn't be able to capture some of the landscapes I'd like to shoot.

Realistically, you're about ~9mins flight time as it all depends on your speed and wind. This is a fun little drone for FPV flights, but it's jittery with the 1 axis gimbal, so you're gonna see lots of side to side movements - even in mild wind conditions. So if you're planning this for videos, you're gonna need to edit the videos to stabilize the image. If your purpose is for photos, you're going to be fine. Neo 2 is a better option with its 2 axis gimbal and 4K 60fps for videos.
