This price for a laptop CPU, laptop RAM and a mobo with a laptop socket does not make any sense.

Don't you sort of need a laptop socket if you're going to have a laptop cpu?

But it is a deal, next year there will be no components available or they will have prohibiting prices.

Yeah it's basically zero upgrade path. Throw the whole machine away in five years.
You say that like people don't do that already.

There's never been a viable upgrade path after over half a decade, so maybe drop the exaggeration.

Given that the 5070Ti goes for $1500 and is expected to have another price hike, it's already accounting for 70% of the total system cost. 32GB of RAM is also not cheap at an average of $480. And a 1TB drive averages $190 right now.

So you're getting the CPU, motherboard, PSU, and case for free.

Where's the complaint?

Can Costco and Lenovo collaborate to align their line up? Costco lineup has too much CPU with weaker GPU.

Check your emails for any offers from cptl ne shppng. I recently had an offer for 61.5% back (max $1000 rewards). There have been a lot of "spend XXX, get YYY" type offers lately also.
