Sometimes lowes ymmv deals show up on their web site and you can even buy them via the web site if you pick a store that has it at that price. So it isn't unreasonable for people to think lowes instore deals might show up on the web site at times

No, because most retailers don't have the great feature that the lowes site has with respect to sometimes allowing people to buy in store sales or in store clearance items via the web site for an in store pick up order
