I agree. Last summer I got this same 5700x CPU for under $100 shipped. There's absolutely no reason for such an old consumer CPU to be going up in price other than pure greed. The same goes for old AM4 motherboards; neither of which have any RAM or storage involved. Plus, they were all manufactured before the RAMpocalypse. This entire PC economy is such a shit show.
