It's a fantastic looking monitor, OLED screen is superb and refresh rate on it is insane. I think I was able to get it down to around $500 a couple of years ago after chatting with a Samsung Rep directly. However as someone who has owned this Monitor for close to 2 years and is currently going through a service request with Samsung for this monitor, I'd like to warn potential buyers about the jog/joystick on the back of the Monitor. It's a bit weird to use/navigate but you get used to it fairly fast. I went to go turn the monitor on one day and I noticed that it felt loose, so I looked behind the monitor and the base of the jog/joystick was cracked/detached, making it impossible to navigate the menu's and extremely difficult to turn on/off (I have to line it up juuuust right). I've been nothing but delicate with this monitor, and when reaching out to Samsung they claimed that it's not covered under warranty and essentially blamed me for being too rough with it. Look up reviews/reddit posts, some people have had it snap or break after a couple months or even days of owning it, there's so many reports about it, and most of them had Samsung tell them the exact thing they told me. It's gotten to a point where someone shared a custom 3d-print file for a replacement joystick attachment for it.

Thankfully after enough complaining to a couple different Samsung Reps about it, they're honoring a warranty claim for it and it's been at their servicing center for a couple of weeks already. Just recently got an update stating they had to order a replacement part for it (the jog/joystick no doubt) and that tacked on an extra week wait time.

Just my experience but I thought I'd share. Superb when it works, but the longevity has given me mixed feelings.
