This Delsey two piece polycarbonate spinner set stands out as a lightweight, good looking luggage option that has held up well on long haul and multi city trips. The wheels are described as smooth and shock absorbent, and the set has stayed in good shape even under heavy loads and airport abuse. The main concerns are the carry on size, which appears to run larger than standard airline limits, and the zippers, which are seen as less robust than YKK hardware. The $99.97 price is rare for Delsey, though it may be a clearance model at select stores.
The set can work well for carry-on and checked use across multiple international trips without needing to check the carry-on often.
The luggage can stay lightweight while still holding up after long-haul travel with heavy loads and airport rolling.
The wheels may provide shock-absorbent performance that can help during airport rolling compared with the Travelers Choice set.
Costco returns can reduce the risk of buying this luggage when performance concerns come up.
The carry-on dimensions listed can exceed common US airline sizer limits, which may create boarding or gate-check friction.
The wheels can break off within months of use, which can undermine long-term durability.
The $99.97 pricing can reflect an outgoing or clearance model that may vary by store and availability.
The Delsey construction can prioritize lower weight, which may trade off build thickness and increase crush risk.

That said buying luggage from Costco is a smart move because you can always return it

Would the ones in the stores be cheaper since there is no shipping factored in the price?
I really miss the old Delsy 70/30 suitcases
Original price is meaningless. When shopping always think it terms of net price - what you actually pay. Is it an unbelievable price. Well, it is rare that you get Delsey branded 2 piece polycarbonate set at that price.
That said, after consideration of all the factors, I strongly believe the Traveler's Choice 2 piece luggage, for only $10 more, in the link below, also from COSTCO, is a substantially better deal. Yes, substantially better.

More stylish?
Costco has this 3 piece for $199 now, but every at least 6 months, it throws in $50 off so if you wait you can get it for $149. It's on the heavier side but that reflects its quality construction.

Note that there are two DELSEY 2 piece items on sale for $99, both of which are polycarbonate:
The one in this thread:
4.6/5 Rating, Costco Item 1872217, Black Color
https://www.costco.com/p/-/delsey...400041
There is a separate DELSEY HELIUM EDGE 2.0 also for $99 (with a 4.5/5 star rating); Dark Gray Color, Item 1872077 | Model 402882977CO
https://www.costco.com/p/-/delsey...400035
As I've mentioned 100 times before, the better quality luggage for only $10 more is the one in the link below.

DELSEY may look better stylistically and in theory has a better brand name - "DELSEY PARIS" but rest assured it ain't made in France, ha ha
In general, the main failure points in luggage are:
a) Zippers
b) Wheels
c) Handle
d) Body
Delsey tries to make its luggage lighter (less thickness) so it may crush. There's a trade off of weight with build-quality.
Seems like a good deal.
The Traveler's Choice luggage in the link below should have instead been the frontpage deal!
