This Delsey two piece polycarbonate set stands out as a lightweight, good looking Costco luggage option that has held up well on long trips, with smooth wheels and a removable interior that is easier to clean. The checked bag and carry on have been used through heavy travel without major issues, and the current price around $100 is described as unusually low for this brand. The main cautions are that the carry on dimensions may run over standard airline limits, the carry on is not expandable and lacks a TSA lock, and the lighter build may trade off some durability.

I bought this set for $140 in-store a year or so ago. Checked bag has been on two multi-city int'l trip, carry-on has been on half a dozen trips (never had to be checked). Feel pretty good about it at this price point, would buy again.

the wheels seem to be better on the delsey set though. They mention shock absorbent wheels which the travelers choice does not. Agree the zippers are superior on the traveler set though but the wheels seem equally important
I agree; wheels are very important.

How do you know the Traveler's Choice luggage does or doesn't have shock absorbent wheels simply because it isn't mentioned?

I have this set. It's lightweight yet high quality (so far). It's been through a couple of long hauls at 70 lbs because the wife likes to pack. We als travel with a toddler so this bag has also rolled through airports with other heavy carry ons on top of them. They've taken a beating but , they're still as good as new. Wheels spin well or even better than our older Samsonite, and it's wife approved so we grabbed a second set when this was on clear for $149.97 ~2.5 weeks ago. At $100 it's a steal (just submitted price match, ty).

You mean the Delsey carry on isn't expandable?

While that's great the key comparative question now is .....

Is it better than the Traveler's Choice luggage at COSTCO for $99 in store and $109 online (see the link below)?

Separately, Is the DELSEY carry on expandable?

Original price is meaningless. When shopping always think it terms of net price - what you actually pay. Is it an unbelievable price. Well, it is rare that you get Delsey branded 2 piece polycarbonate set at that price. That said, after consideration of all the factors, I strongly believe the Traveler's Choice 2 piece luggage, for only $10 more, in the link below, also from COSTCO, is a substantially better deal. Yes, substantially better.https://slickdeals.net/f/20249247-traveler-s-choice-13-piece-luggage-bundle-black-or-blue-109-99-free-shipping-costco-com?
What do you think about the flexispot 28 inch, it's just the 28 at $90. It is polycarbonate, Ykk zippers and himomoto wheels. No expansion though.

I have this Delsey set and i like it, though I only travel once or twice a year. The wheels are good and i love that the interior part is removable for cleaning.

That would DECISEVELY make me decide that the Traveler's Choice luggage is indeed a much better deal.

In a carry on, you'd want as much packing volume as possible. The Delsey strips that major benefit entirely. I'd go with TC below:

Actually, you can get 2 excellent luggage in pink but you have to buy each piece separately:

Check in large 28" available in pink for $89:

Carry on for $119 reduced to $73 (with discount codes)

Don't even think twice. Both are quality luggage with great features and at a fab price for individual pieces bough separately.

BOTH (above) are already slickdeals "frontpage" deals!!!
