Incredible deal. This is my favorite deal considering you also can get a good circ saw or the hydraulic impact (my rec) for $249.
This is a better drill and better impact and better battery than the $99 kit.

I believe that kit still includes the hammer drill. That said, most hammer drills have the ability to turn the hammering function off.

You are correct on both counts (includes the hammer drill and it can be turned off). However, for $50 more this is the better deal since you get the reciprocating saw and light.
