Uber Eats through Prime is mainly a delivery fee waiver for restaurant orders of $25 or more, activated through Amazon.com/UberEats and limited to the Amazon Uber Eats storefront. It can work well for pickup too, with the promo and fee removal showing up there, and the app tile leads straight into an order page. The main catches are high service fees, marked up menu prices, no Uber One style savings, and no gift card stacking. It also ends if Prime is paused or canceled, making it a narrow convenience perk rather than a full Uber Eats replacement.
Common Questions (5)
No. The Prime-linked benefit only waives delivery fees on eligible restaurant orders and does not reduce Uber service fees like Uber One. Costco is also not available through this Prime Uber Eats experience, even though it is on the regular Uber app/Uber One.
Yes. Pickup can still show the promo, remove the pickup service fee, and apply the $20 discount, making it a workable way to avoid delivery charges entirely.
Yes, menu prices can be marked up about 15% to 50% versus the restaurant's own site or app. That markup can outweigh the waived delivery fee, especially on larger orders.
Activate it at Amazon.com/UberEats by tapping "Allow." The benefit is only for orders placed in the Uber Eats store on Amazon, not in the Uber Eats app or website, and order tracking is also handled there; if Prime is canceled or paused, the benefit ends immediately.
The offer appears to require Amazon Pay and does not allow Uber gift cards, so it won't stack with discounted gift-card purchases. That makes it less useful if you already rely on Uber credits or gift cards.

OK, TLDR, that Amazon offer is not good if you already have Uber One. At first I was excited: "Hey Amazon is going to pay for my Uber One membership!" NOPE.
Amazon is constantly watering down their offerings while upping the prices. Gotta take care of the shareholder, I know, but if they keep screwing their customers they'll lose both.
What a great company Amazon was once. It's just sad to see what they've become. It's like Google going from their slogan of "do no evil" to dropping the slogan and becoming Evil Inc.
