I didn't know ryobi made one. This is great timing I was considering another Milwaukee M12 one but this is cheaper, has a higher flow rate (15 gpm vs 9 gpm), and is telescopic vs fixed. Reviews on Home Depot look good too

Would this work on muddy water too or no?

Looking at it for water changes.

Please note that this pump is intended for water only and should not be used with flammable liquids like gasoline or other petroleum products. Additionally, it is not certified for potable or drinking water transfer. For best results, ensure you clean the pump after use, especially if used in saltwater.

I don't have it (yet) but I'd say it depends on how muddy. The Milwaukee one I have will dirty water out of a hole in the ground but even a trash pump will struggle with thicker mud. On the Home Depot website one of the stock pics shows a guy using it to transfer dirty water out of a hole in the ground for irrigation repair.
