Bought into Greenworks equipment in spring of 2018. All units have been flawless; this blower, trimmer, mower, fan, and inverter. Only 3 batteries and they have been incredibly reliable for 8+ years. Hold a charge like the first day. I highly recommend. Just sayin.

I'll +1 this. I bought a 40V mower first (at least 6 years ago). Then when I decided I needed more battery I got this same blower/battery combo. Both have been rock solid.

I have had terrible luck with Greenworks 40V system batteries. Tools work well, but I have not had a battery last more than two years, oftentimes they have gone out within a year of purchase. I now have a few (two chainsaws and one blower) in their 80V system. I pray that I have vastly better luck with their batteries than I have had with the 40V. BTW: Those 80V tools have some serious juice. I put the chainsaws on the same level as my 51.3 cc Echo saws. Only problem is that batteries run out of juice very quickly and those batteries are HEAVY.

I'm another happy 40V customer, I have at least 10 tools and lots of batteries. I've had some of the 2aH batteries go out after about 6 years. It's important to keep them in the house during the winter and I left them in the garage a couple of years which probably didn't help.

I'll add another positive for Greenworks 40V ecosystem. I've been invested with Greenworks for at least 10 years with chainsaws, blowers, mowers, hedge trimmers, weed trimmers, etc. Aside from some of the batteries giving up the ghost after 4-5 years, the only issue I had was the earlier version of the brushless blower developing some sort of short in the rolling speed selector. It would cut out at higher speeds and then you have to let off the trigger and restart it. It happens over and over so it makes blowing leaves really inefficient. It will sometimes not do that if I hold down on the dial so that makes me believe the mechanism went bad after 10 years which is a long time for one of the most heavily used tools I have. I'll eventually take it apart to see if I can fix it but in the meantime I finally bought the newer version of the blower a couple of years ago and it has been humming along with no issues. I am not sure it is more powerful than the digipro version it replaced but still happy with Greenworks. I've used their customer service to replace a defective battery charger under warranty and was really happy with them.
