The reviews on the amazon page seems to be mostly good, I saw 2-3 reviews that mentioned they had problems with it but nothing too bad besides one that just broke overtime

I have this torque wrench - it has been good and I like it, but as a torque wrench I just wish it was longer. On stuff with higher torque specs (ie car lug nuts) it can be hard to make it "click" because it's just not that long. I think it's 16.5" or something. I'll eventually make an extension for it. At this price though it's still a good deal in my opinion.

I was going to say the same thing. If you're not the strongest person, torquing lug nuts is a chore.

why not just first torque with your ratchet and just use this to "finish" it off? I have seen countless videos from yt bros that keep asking that we shouldn't be using this to actually torque the nuts but just use like a thermometer to check the 'spec'.

because if you ratchet it to 200ft/lbs by some other mean and then use a torque wrench set to 100ft/lbs, it will still click like it's happy/perfect. A torque wrench is meant to click when it REACHES that point AS its being wrenched. A 'thermometer' check here is only verifying that the spec has been reached, not whether its been blown past by a mile.

this is a pretty standard length for this range of torque wrench (10-170), most car lugs are in the 100ft/lbs ballpark, i can see some people having issues with the 170, but 100 should be reachable by any non-girly man, YA! Wink

I think i might upgrade my old harbor freight one for this, cuz the old eyes seem to not appreciate the chrome wrench with indented chrome numbers any longer
first gonna try a black marker and see if the ink stays in the depressions though...

Purchased this back on August 2025 for $25. Worked well for me installing skid plates and tow hooks on a 4 Runner. No problems here. $19 is a great price.

Anyone who thinks this is good, I'd love to rebuild your engine and torque your wheels with this junk!
You can tell me later how long it took for your engine to throw a rod and how many of your wheels fell off laugh out loud
