Great vac. A bit loud. It comes with a long extension which is very useful.

This vacuum is awful. I bought it to replace a broken Black & Decker articulating handheld vacuum, and I threw BOTH out. It simply lacks suction, and it's loud. As in, you really REALLY do need hearing protection when using it. Instead, if you snag it on a deal, the Milwaukee M12 wet/dry vac is a LOT better -- assuming you can tolerate the boxy size, have 4-6ah m12 batteries, and oh....aren't allergic to the color red.
+1 on this vacuum being excessively loud, and it gave up the ghost after about 3 sessions of cleanup. Was considering doing the LSA exchange for it, but I think the noise was just terrible. Wouldn't recommend

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

i dont expect consistent high end shop vac power, but it suction is pretty close to shop vac power and it is great for car. Its loud but that not a problem, i will say it uses the battery fast and works better with the MAX OUTPUT batteries (ive tried the standard 18v ridgid batteries (non-max) and it doesnt work as good on the vaccum, loses power quick, but the MAX batteries works great). for those wondering theres a youtube video review somewhere out there that gives it praise

Not good. The suction power is comparable with small shark duster.

Why are they all similar design to Ryobi or there's only one manufacture for everyone?

There's only one manuf for bicycle too. Giant makes bicycle for Trek and Specialized, etc

Yes TTI who is the parent company of Milwaukee Ryobi and Ridgid power tools owns Hoover if I recall but it's one of the big vacuum brands so ya a lot of branding variations but most are pretty much the same

Any reason to get this if I already have the small 18V shop vac?

Heads up, the editor's notes say this runs through 11/8 at 11:59 PM ET, so today is the last day. It's tool only too, so the battery and charger are sold separately.

I had the older version from a few years ago that looks almost identical and when the ON/OFF switch wasn't working properly, I sent it in for LSA and they mailed me the newer version. It's a bit noisier than the B&D I have , but suction is better.

Giant doesn't make bikes for Trek or Specialized. They make lower-end aluminum frames for Trek (to Trek's specifications) but not the whole bike, and Specialized is made by Meridia, who is also a large shareholder in Specialized.
