On the plus side, I didn't have to bathe them. I threw spaghetti on the table and ate mine and walked away. DONE with them tonight. BT is grounded from the Wii until Monday... if he lives that long. Annoyed
I'm going to ground mine from breathing. Mad I can't wait for 8 o'clock. Cannot.wait.

Metoday, I'm glad the wee one is doing better and didn't have to be admitted. I hope he's feeling better tonight.

This man I swore I would never do any more computer work for ever again somehow talked me into taking his desktop and his netbook to work on while he was on vacation. He said he'd be gone 10 days at least, which should have been through Tuesday of next week. I had this little problem called PNEUMONIA and didn't work on his machine at all last week; I'd planned to spend some time with it tonight, actually, and tomorrow.

He emailed me at 1900 saying "I need it back tonight!" Now, I live about 25 miles from this man & am not interested in driving that far when I'm already settled in for the evening. He tells me he'll come out to my place and pick it up; fine. He just got here & left 10 minutes ago. WTF is wrong with people? I gave him his money back & told him not to call me, not even for $75 an hour (I'd been charging him $50).

FARK!

Sometimes I love cantaloupe SO much. But it has to be at the perfect stage where it's not rock hard and it's soft and juicy but not to that stage where it's going bad and makes your tongue tingle, lol.

Side note - I'm not fond of honeydew.

High Five

That's the thing about healthy foods. Like if I go to the store and get a bag of cookies, they're gonna be good. You know that. But when I go get strawberries/cantaloupe/grapes/etc sometimes they are the most delicious things ever and then other times they are sour or bitter even if they look perfect. Though apples are usually good. And oranges. And bananas.

OMG at the funeral (yeah I know) afterward there was a big thing where people brought food and stuff and someone brought this SUPER good thing...it was layered in a big clear bowl with angel food cake, strawberries and blueberries and cool whip. It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good. Like the strawberries and blueberries were at the perfect point of deliciousness.

My sister made something similar to that on Father's Day. Do you want me to get the recipe for you? Hers had something like a cheesecake layer in there somewhere.
I am picky about apples, too. They can't be soft. I like firm apples. Like Granny Smiths. I can take or leave oranges. I love bananas. I love pineapple.

Oooh sure I'd love it when you get the chance Smilie

One time I was cast in some health video for the different schools (You know that crap you watch in Health class, lol)...and I was the girl who was supposed to eat the apple and be all healthy and crap. Anyway I went to take the bite and the whole thing was rotten. All brown and mushy inside. And the guy shooting says "Lets do that again but look like you're enjoying it more." So I tried but didn't pull it off that well. Then I showed them the apple and he said "Well why didn't you tell us? That's looks disgusting." laugh out loud

My favorite fruit is probably the orange. Then pineapples. When we lived in Florida we had tons of orange trees in our yard (everyone did) and my dad and I would go out and pick like 50 and bring them inside and just eat as much as we wanted and then put the rest in the fridge.

I tried a Mango the other day. Or I guess a few weeks ago. I had never had one and thought it was like an apple where you bite into it like an apple. Apparently that's not the case. Skin wasn't bad though to be honest.

Have you ever had a kiwi? I saw some at Publix yesterday and thought about getting one but didn't. Same with Pomegranates.

Roll @ eating the mango skin. ftr its got a stone that is about a half inch horizontal (hold it so the widest part is facing left/right) just slice along side that and use a spoon to scoop it out like an avocado. if you're like my dad you jsut eat it in one bite laugh out loud

or you can peel it and slice it. there's some tender fruit on the side of the stone.. peel and just suck on it. that's the "chef's specialty".

kiwi.. peel it. its yummy. but i think of it like a peeled grape. tasty but not nearly worth the effort.

pomegranate isn't great IMO. its a bitch to clean. and the seeds are really bitter. the juice sweetened (like cranberries) are good.

my favorite oranges are what we picked up on the side of the roads from the sunkist farms in ca. sweeter than honey. we'd usually buy a box and eat 5 or so per sitting.. it was that good. your moth burned after that much laugh out loud
