Haha. I actually wanted to adopt two, but the parents were against it. I promised to take one with me when I move out in a year, but no go.

Mine told me that if it breathes, needs food, needs water, or might bring dirt in the house, it's not allowed.

And then two weeks later my dad brings home a puppy. Two years ago it was our jack russell for my mom's birthday, and last year it was an ugly as boxer that's turned into a great dog (minus her faults laugh out loud).

I'm going to buy my nephews a snake, I think. My sister and mom both have this deathly fear of snakes, but I figure I can sneak it into like a Christmas gift or something and they can't object.
