I did regain consciousness a few times, but just long enough to realize that I really didn't want to be awake for that, and the two times they had to ask me to breathe. Weird hearing yourself flatline
Oh when I came out of it, I didn't even know my own name. Yeah, no way I could have driven home.
I laid down on the sofa thing they had in the waiting room and slept for like another hour or so. I remember my mom waking me up like "it's time to go home!"
Then we stopped and got a frosty, and since I had zero feeling in my face and I was all drugged up, I had it all over me.

I can't believe as bad as you were bleeding that you had to wait HOURS to see someone.
I would have been so pissed.
All of the hospitals in the area were packed....the ambulance guys had my foot wrapped so tight to stop the bleeding so I'm sure I wasn't considered "life threatened".
Dr was a total joke too.
I am a cheap SOB when it comes to shoes, since they're just going to fall apart anyway, and it's nearly impossible to find a size 13 under $30 or so that you would be willing to be caught dead wearing.
