In 1978, when I was in college for pre-med (because it was the closest thing they offered to genetic biochemistry back then) everyone was all freaking scared outta their gourd after the movie "The Andromeda Strain" came out. Couple that with a few biological disasters, and all the good professors got much better-paying offers from the newly-forming genetic research (and later bio-engineering) firms. I was going to grow up to be an evil mad scientist that bred long-tailed hamsters and such (it's a Bloom County reference to Oliver Wendell Jones, in case you don't get the joke) until the educational system fell out from under me, I discovered how much I loved computers, and I met my soon-to-be ex-wife.
Mix me up a quick cocktail of cockatiel genome, will ya?

The oldest game system I owned was a PS1 that my brother and I got for XMas the year it launched. My parents also got my siblings an NES the year it launched.
Right now the oldest one I own is a GameCube that's still operational from around 2003-2004.
I got to hot today so I am going to lay back down. Don't forget to say a prayer for DD and I.
