I remember the good old SSB on the N64. I was given an N64 when I was like 8, and that was the first game I bought.
And now I am just waiting for $$$ so that I can pick up the Wii version. I've got a bunch of games I want for Wii that are 1st party, but they're fricking expensive. As an SDer, I'm against that.
I had atari when I was REALLY little, then we got the nintendo. Then super nintendo, then N64, then a game cube. We had a friend that had a sega genesis that we played regularly, too. But I always liked Nintendo better.
Though I haven't played basically anything on the wii other than the sports.
I need to get a wii - they look so fun!

If you find WSR and a Motion Plus worth $50, get the black one. If you don't (and I probably wouldn't) and aren't a priss when it comes to your selection of color, get an old bundle for about $150 (less if you get lucky).

DS JUST started playing games - we have Madagascar Karts for PS3, and OMG, he loves it.
Up until this point, we'd give him a controller that wasn't plugged in like we used to do with my little brother when he was that age.

I also have the Wii, and I didn't like the widely acclaimed super smash bros, and was never much for super mario galaxy, regarded as one of the best mario games of all time. I'm more about the party games - boom blox, wario ware shake it, mario party, etc.
I went a little crazy with the music games when we started playing, so I have Rock Band 1&2, AC/DC track pack, Beatles RB, GH:WT, GH5, and GH: Metallica. I'll play any of the instruments or sing depending on what everyone wants to do
