iirc 92-96 was the zenith.. 92 still had conan.

listening to the commentary, you know the episode that homer went to college and burned his ged lighting the whole room on fire singing "i am so smart. s-m-r-t.. i mean s-m-A-r-t" ? total dan accident. he just gets so into homer he makes those ad libs and they leave it in.

I get them, I just don't like the show. I usually like that style of TV too, which is why I think it's weird.
