I used to have similar encounters, but with the Mormons.
Religion I'm fine with, they show me what they think and say "please think about it" and leave
Peta on the other hand shows you only what they want you to know and expects you to blindly follow and give them your money like they're doing so much good

The Jehovah's Witnesses, on the other hand... or the Baptists for that matter. I was talking to a Southern Baptist about the Jefferson Bible, and he was all "I don't think we should be interpreting the Bible like that" and I'm thinking to myself, shouldn't you be a farking Catholic then?

I actually really respect what mormons do. They aren't pushy, they just genuinely believe that they have the "correct" message to share and want you to hear it. They also are very good with helping out their community. I just don't believe the way they do. I don't believe in organized religion at all actually. I think you should have your own beliefs and faith and that is it. When people get together they act like... well, people and that is when you get issues.
Jehovah's Witnesses kinda freak me out, at least the ones I have met/known.
