Yeah - 44 cents for up to one ounce, anything over that up to 2 ounces is an additional 17 cents. (And 17 additional cents for each ounce thereafter.)

I wouldn't have gotten it weighed - I would have just stuck the stamp on it and mailed it. They wouldn't have noticed a tenth of an ounce. laugh out loud

In the future, just put the stamp on it and mail it - if it's less than half an ounce over, I always just mail it with one stamp, and I've never had a problem. Evillaugh

(I do this several times a day at my office.)

Well it jumps from the place I'm typing, to the middle of the sentience.
  • Start Orb > Control Panel.
  • Hardware and Sound
  • Under "Devices and Printers", select "Mouse".
  • See what tabs you have there, because it will be different for different pad manufacturers.
    • If it's a Synaptics touchpad, it probably has a "Device Settings" tab.
    • Under that option, you'll find things like "Palm Check" and "Sensitivity" that you can adjust the values for.
  • If it's a different manufacturer other than Synaptics that made the pad, post it, and I'm sure at least one of us can tell you where to go to monkey around with the settings.

That's relevant how?

And you have to consider that in proportion to their income. Their income is HUGE.

Yep that can work too! Especially if it's being sent to a business. Residential they might hold it at the local PO for the additional postage (don't laugh, it's happened to me before!).

All our outgoing mail goes directly to customers' homes, and we've never had that problem. Dontknow

If we did, we would have heard about it, I'm sure. laugh out loud

Jenna Bush's parents make just as much as the Clintons and her wedding was only $100k
2-3 million is still CRAZY
I understand they have money. I would have understood a half a mil wedding but not 2.5!

You're just TOO kind, Cupcake, thanks!! I lost the beard a few years ago, and my temples are more grey these days. Her hair was cut shorter after the honeymoon, and she's let it get more grey/silver now.

Last I read, the Clintons donated about 10 million to charities just in the year 2008 - if they want to spend a quarter of what they donate to charities in a year on their daughter's wedding... I say they should.

I don't think the Bushes make as much money as the Clintons, do they?
