Since we're all in a picture posting mood...

I'm going to disregard Mal's request entirely and post this!

Even though this picture is probably older than most of you I was likely fairly close to most of your ages when it was taken so it makes me feel less than the OWS I am today!

No, her dress was only $15,000 - the radio show I listen to in the morning had a breakdown of all the costs of her wedding Thursday morning. laugh out loud

250K on the flowers... and let's see... what else... I know the food was even more, I'm sure. Well, food and drink, alcohol's always plenty expensive.


Oh, I think the venue rental was well over 200K, too. And I remember them talking about the porta-potties, that they were 15K, too, because they were making jokes about her spending that same amount on her dress. LMAO

The porta-potties and location security were the largest expenses, I believe.

No, that's not what they said - the porta potties were only 15K, and she spend hundreds of thousands on everything else. I would assume that since they were broadcasting it to the whole city, they had their facts right.

And yeah, the security costs a lot - but the secret service will be there, but at the taxpayers' cost. Grin
