I'm going to disregard Mal's request entirely and post this!
Even though this picture is probably older than most of you I was likely fairly close to most of your ages when it was taken so it makes me feel less than the OWS I am today!

I do know that only the female bees have the stingers - the males don't have them. We were discussing it in biology, our professor keeps bees, and she said she loved giving the male bees for people to hold as a trick, because they didn't have stingers, and people were still all freaked out.

I'll have to ask my daughter if she has any on her camera. The only thing I have on any of my cameras that's recent are things that I've taken and surprisingly those don't include me!
