Oh yeah? We had steak, shrimp, green beans, and mac and cheese and fresh buttered rolls with homemade apple cobbler for dessert. Bleh

laugh out loud Kidding... we had a chicken casserole. I threw some cucumbers and tomatoes at the boys, too.

I was JUST thinking this morning how Phantom hasn't had any seizures lately (that I've seen). He just had one a few minutes ago. Blah. It's so weird though. I said "Want a treat?" and he perked up and tried to crawl over to get one. Even the Dr. thought it was weird that he was coherent enough to comprehend me saying things like that when he's having a seizure. Poor boy. I hope they aren't starting up again.
Comfort Sounds like they're less frequent at least. Hopefully that trend continues.

We're going to the zoo and the science museum tomorrow (AKA "Grandpa's work" Coverlaugh) Lunches are made - wine is poured and I'll go to bed in a little bit. We leave early in the morning to be there when it opens. It'll be a long day, but a good one. We're going with BT's Godmother and her 2 kiddos that are close in age to my guys.

Still no word on when my parents will arrive. They're 2 hrs away at their parents' houses. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Yeah. Usually he won't have any for weeks but once he has one he'll have a lot for a week or two. The Dr. called them cluster seizures or something. The way I look at it is if this is as bad as it gets it's not too bad. He doesn't appear to be too much in pain if he's crawling to get a treat and they don't last too long (though they seem to last forever).

Ooooh I LOVE science museums!! Sounds like a long day tomorrow though (and very wine-worthy laugh out loud )

What are the odds? Shocking I had this, too, except I had steak, shrimp, green beans, and mac and cheese and fresh buttered rolls with homemade apple cobbler AND homemade ice cream for dessert.

Ethernet. I have an Apple Airport router I really like so I had them switch that right away. Instead of calling you can reboot your ONT to get a new DHCP lease if your router is down for more than 2 hours. Unplug it, open the ONT (top part), disconnect the battery (or even just one of the leads) for one minute, reconnect the battery, plug the ONT back in. Easy. The battery is just like the kind you find in UPS backup units.

I hated that Actiontec, not in the least b/c the default password is printed on the side of the router. Plus I don't have FIOS TV so it's basically useless to me. Although I will be moving soon so I may hang onto the Actiontec just for the MOCA capability...

Anyway, yeah, Verizon's kind of a PITA but I dunno who else offers FIOS speeds and reliability (I've seriously had 100% uptime since I switched from DSL--it's never, knock on wood, ever dropped on me once).
Yea Ethernet is the way to go with them. I never tried the battery disconnect, I read about it on the other forums..but didn't realize it was at the top of the ONT, I was disconnecting something else..Unsure

The Actiontech was hell. The wireless speeds were horrible, even with my router plugged off it. I got dropped like crazy back then. Now it's fine with my own router.

I'm a lucky one, Verizon's CSR's have been awesome to me. Then again, I pay a shitload to them every month and have everything they offer. But come Sept, the new house doesn't have FIOS..it's going to kill me to go back to Comcrap..but no other choice, and I can't go to DSL..no way.
