Man sorry I left before explaining what Magnet school was. I just assumed people knew, lol. But yeah like Ref said it's a school for smart people. We had to submit her grades/tcap scores for the past two years and they had to be at a certain level before they would accept her. I was glad to get her in this year when the school opened because now there's a waiting list. It's not a private school or anything...I mean we don't have to pay to have her go.

As for the air conditioning...I don't think that's how it will always be. The parents were asking in the classes "So what's the deal with the air?" and the teachers all said that it's usually pretty chilly and it must be broken or something.

Something that sucks though....the school mascot is the Tiger so it's all "Go Tigers!" and Tiger pictures and tshirts and "We are the Tigers" crap. ANYTHING but a Tiger. Geeze. Or a monkey.

yep its gifted and talented. we didn't have schools for it its just an "add on" .. my interview they asked me a bunch of stuff i didn't know. one question i remember is they asked what's a facsimile is and i had no idea. they asked if i knew what a fax was, and i said sure. they approved me Roll this was the first year i moved here. mom made me go to a one day gate camp where we had a math magician Sadwalk
