its fruit fly season. little gnats that invade. can't have any open liquids, have to throw the trash out daily or it goes stinky regardless how much is in there.

should I go to Petco for the Dodgers/Padres series? I have noticed plenty of dodgers fans.
dodgers just got a pinch hit 2 run single by ethier in a previously 0-0 top 7th game with 2 out against the pads.

I wasn't really interested in baseball until I read Living On The Black [amazon.com] by John Feinstein. AMAZING book. Between that & the Nats signing Stephen Strasburg (who didn't pitch tonight, dammit), I'm watching baseball every damn night.
ANYway, I understand 5 no-hitters at this point in the season is kind of rare.

they've outlawed most stimulants, a huge (relative to gen population) percentage of mlb players have add. its year of the pitcher mainly because the guys are throwing harder (96-100 isn't unusual for top pitchers) and most of the ped's baseball players used are out. hgh is the only thing still out there, but its questionable how much of an effect it has. i watched the 98 hr derby during the all star break.. difference is amazing. its like going back 25-30 years in history
