yeah, he understands that I'm overstressed
What he doesn't understand is that I don't know how to deal with it alone
I've only lived away from home for a year and of course I've never went through stuff like this before and my dad was always the one I talk to everything about

Even when I lived at home, I worked with family. I've never just been absolutely alone like I am now

He's lived out on his own for 8 years now and he's always been a very private person and not really close to his family at all

That's exactly why. Remind him of that often when he claims "it's just you", or that you're bi-polar (total crap) or he doesn't understand.

Not everyone has the same attachments and feelings towards their family. For those who are close things of the nature of what you're going through are and can be terribly difficult.

okay so FD's thread about hearing her boss take a crap while she sits at her desk...I totally understand.
I'm on the couch in the dark with my laptop. My roommate (drunk) walked into the bathroom and you can hear EVERYTHING. So gross!
