I don't think I'm necessarily a snob, but if troll DBC wants to label me as one... they can go for it.

I just like good beer and yeah, I'll probably make fun of the people around me drinking miller/bud/other crap. If that makes me a snob, OK, I'll deal with it.

Yeah I tease people too...but then again...I'll drink it if it's there and nothing else if I'm in the mood for a beer.

There's a difference between liking good beer and posting on BA. Those people go a little overboard in their views, IMO. They also rarely give a craft beer anything below a C and rate Guinness down just because its a macro.

I can see that and that makes sense. Not all of the members there, such as myself, are like that. I truly enjoy Guinness and other "marco"(but still craft) breweries, in particular Sam Adams.

I like trying new beers, different styles and trying to pick up on different flavors that are in there.

I've never found a sam adams flavor that I like. I haven't tried all of em.. but none of them make me say, "wow, this is a good beer."

I'm a big fan of Wychwood beers tho http://www.wychwood.co.uk/beers.htm

Boston Lager is my typical session style beer. I've been known to finish a 12 pack plus a couple of a good night. (at home and not on the road of course Wink ) Coastal Wheat is a really good summer beer, so is their summer ale, and Blackberry Wit.

I really like hobgoblin Smilie.

I can find them easy enough in the midwest in a crappy town.. I've seen em at Friar Tucks as well.

I just recently visited their site tho. I'd be interested in trying some of the others I hadn't heard of Smilie. Bah Humbug wasn't my favorite "christmas" beer, but it wasn't bad. The amber is solid, and fiddler's elbow was good too.

Goose Island - Dortmunder Gold is pretty delicious, their Irish Ale also kicks ass.
