What would I win though? They don't have the cash. The only thing I could get is a Chrysler Cirrus that's worth about $0 and a Ford F150 that's almost 3 months behind.
It's pretty cut and dry though. They owe me a nice chunk of money. My dad's already admitted to theft.
I could I guess print off the forms and conveniently leave them on the desk in our dining room (it's a dining room/office since my sister moved in).
Apparently, it was necessary to open a SIXTH Starbucks on our campus. We now have Starbucks in our main library, one standalone near the Student Union, one in the College of Medicine, one in our Mag Lab, one in the bookstore, and one in the Law School.
Sheesh.
Oh, and the 24 hour diner on campus became a Denny's.
I love how it's my fault my nephew broke a $200 game system, even though I was against him ever playing it. He had been a PITA all day yesterday and that doesn't exactly say he deserved to be rewarded. But no. It's all the medication he's taking and all this bullshit. So he plays the Wii and what happens? He trips over the cable and boom, I've got an incorrectly functioning game system I've had less than 80 days.
I'm just fed up with everything. I think it's sad all of this shit is happening.
The entire reason I took financial aid this semester beyond the amount I needed for my courses was so I could get my back to school crap together without worrying and everything, like I ended up doing last year. It ended up I used the cash to pay my parents' bills. Just like last year. I used my entire graduation money to keep my parents in this house. Every. Last. Dime.

I say let them find out the hard way. Neither one has a retirement savings right now. What are they going to do in 10 years? My dad's 53, my mom will be 52 in a month. They're up there in age and have absolutely no plans, except to mooch off their kids. Considering my one brother is a druggie and the other's in prison till I'm 28, and my sister makes almost nothing, that falls to me.
Reality check: I'm not gonna ruin my entire life supporting my parents. If that means that they disown me or whatever, too bad. I'll take that risk. All I do is help and help people. And it always bites me in the ass. Every single time.

Just my opinion...when you live there pay a certain amt of rent....that is it. As much as you love them you HAVE to cut off the gravy train. They will figure it out trust me.....it is not your job. Let your sister take over. You don't want to enable them anymore. Plus you deserve a shot at your own financial future without debt.
