I like care.com actually...I've had a few phone calls from there and one interview and I've not really pursued jobs like I should have. I should really start sending more messages on there about some jobs

Yeah, no offense, but I would SO not pay that, unless you had a 4-year degree in childcare and you were licensed in child CPR and first aid.

Let's face it - when you spend most of your time raiding our pantry and watching the kids watch spongebob for six hours, don't expect me to want to pay you minimum wage.
The private daycare we go to doesn't even charge that kind of outrageous rate! And all the teachers have specialized degrees - they teach the kids Sign Language and Spanish and Yoga and math and science and art...
Yeah, unless you're going to work some SERIOUS magic with my kid, there's nothing that justifies that kind of bullshit fee.
If I can charge what they're saying based on my experience... I could charge more than I'm making at my current job for a couple of kids.
