Let's face it - when you spend most of your time raiding our pantry and watching the kids watch spongebob for six hours, don't expect me to want to pay you minimum wage.
Do you have any idea how many "distant relatives" would come out of the woodworks asking you for money?
Do you have any idea of what kind of fights it'll start in your family?
Trust me, when you just "win" it or are given it, people will think they have just as much of a right to it as you have.
That is one of the primary reasons I'd rather earn it than win it. When you earn all the money that you have, people are less likely to feel entitled to it.

And then his little brother, he'd make him count out a thousand pieces of dog food.
Had I never met my uncle, I would have suspected she was exaggerating. Now that I know him, I know she wasn't.

and I love Patton Oswalt, specially on King of Queens
and his role on United States of Tara is pretty good too...different that what I'm use to from him, but good none the less
The concerts are in October & November. I am so very, very excited.
Anyway, for those of you who don't know who the bands are:
Anberlin: They are rock/emo I suppose. My favorite song of theirs is Cold War Transmissions [youtube.com]. Paperthin Hymn [youtube.com] is one of their most popular and it is great. God, I can't pick just one. Seriously, they are farking awesome.
Mae: They are indie rock. Each album is pretty different from the last IMO. Nothing is better than The Everglow
