It's maybe a mile off I-80 in Omaha, and only a few miles from the Iowa border. Takes two days to see the whole thing unless you're really speeding through it, and that was before they opened the Madagascar exhibit (that I haven't seen yet) and butterfly pavilion.
The swamp is pretty cool indeed. It's nice to visit the rainforest and the desert when it's -10F outside
And that sounds fun. We have a butterfly pavilion here, though. It's very umm... anti-climatic.

We spent all of 2 min in the butterfly pavilion. DH and DS walked in and almost right away DS stepped on a butterfly. He was walking and it flew under his foot, it took forever to get him to stop crying
DS loved the aquarium part the most, then the desert part.
Now I want to go back
